Kitchen Usage Rules

Self-service Kitchen: Room 243

  1. Self-service kitchen room opening hours: Monday to Friday: 8:00 am to 9:30 pm. Weekends: 8:00 am to 5:30 pm
  2. Only boarding students can use the self-service kitchen.
  3. Students must wear their student ID cards when entering the self-service kitchen.
  4. Students must sign in the designated registration book.
  5. Boys must enter the cooking area from the exit. The use of the 2nd floor corridors is not permitted.
  6. Students should keep the kitchen environment clean and orderly.
  7. Students must obey the instructions and guidance of school staff.
  8. Teenagers (under the age of 18) are not allowed to use these tools under any circumstances.
  9. The group use time shall not exceed 1 hour.
  10. Appropriate attire must be worn when using the cooking booth. Such as closed-toed shoes, clean clothes, and long hair tied up.
  11. Students should wash their hands thoroughly before and after cooking to maintain hygiene.
  12. Students can use the tools and equipment provided in the cafeteria.
  13. All equipment must stay in the cooking room and must not be taken out.
  14. Students should use equipment with care and clean it after use.
  15. If the equipment is faulty or damaged, it should be reported to the school staff immediately.
  16. Students can bring personal cooking tools, but they must abide by the school’s regulations.
  17. Students must exercise caution and follow safety guidelines when using cooking equipment.
  18. Sharp objects, such as knives, should be handled with care. Students should use a cutting board and keep fingers away from the cutting edge.
  19. Hot surfaces and utensils should be handled with oven mitts or pot holders.
  20. Students should pay attention to fire safety, cannot leave the kitchen while cooking, and ensure that all electrical appliances are turned off after use.
  21. Excessive noise or disruptive behavior that may disturb others is strictly prohibited.
  22. Students are responsible for keeping the kitchen clean.
  23. After cooking, students must clear their work surfaces, wash dishes, and properly store utensils and ingredients.
  24.  The spilled things should be cleaned up in time to prevent accidents and keep the environment clean.
  25. Food prepared in the cooking room is for personal consumption only.
  26. Failure to comply with the cooking room regulations may result in a warning or temporary suspension of access.
